Outcome of Class

Upon completing this class, students will be eligible to take the Washington State CNA Certification Skills Exam here in our school and become Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in Washington. This program is also equivalent to a CNA 1 license in Oregon, allowing graduates to pursue reciprocity if they wish to work there. With certification, CNAs can find employment in Hospitals, Adult Family Homes, Nursing homes, Assisted Living Facilities, Home Healthcare agencies, and more, gaining valuable experience in the healthcare field.

Training and Curriculum

Students will learn basic medical terminology, essential CNA skills such as taking vital signs, assisting with daily care, and maintaining hygiene, and gain hands-on experience with medical equipment like blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes. The class also includes CPR certification, infection control training, and fundamental patient care techniques to ensure graduates are fully prepared for the CNA exam and real-world healthcare settings.

Class Strucure

Our CNA program is a fast-paced, 2-week course with live Zoom classes and in-person skills labs.
Students complete 10 units with a mix of lectures and hands-on training. Classes run Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. CPR and core nursing skills are taught in person.
After class, students complete a week-long clinical rotation (schedule TBA). It’s a supportive and flexible path to becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant

School Tuition

The total tuition for the CNA training program is $2,100, which includes:

  • Washington State CNA Skills Exam Fee by MaryAnn Wilson

  • Borrowing of the physical textbook

  • Course materials & study guides

  • Hands-on clinical training

Additional Requirments

Beyond completing this program, students must fulfill a few state-mandated requirements to become licensed in Washington:

  • Tuberculosis (TB) Testing – Required for Clinical Rotation.

  • Registration through Credentia – This is necessary to schedule and take the written certification exam. ($55)

  • Secure Access Washington (SAW) Registration – Used to track and manage CNA licensure.

  • Fingerprinting – This may be required as part of the licensing process.

  • Scrubs for Clinicals – Students must provide their own scrubs for clinical training.

License Validity: The Washington CNA license is valid for one year and must be renewed annually.

Oregon Licensure: To become licensed in Oregon, students must apply for reciprocity after completion.
